it would be super easy to disregard the new fox terminator show as little more than a run-up to the cinematic relaunch of t4 whenever but really it deserves quite more better than that, even if just for taking t3 out of continuity. producing persons seem to be actual fans of the series and committed to making a good sequel to t2 in television program format. while i would have preferred that they keep the show in the nineties, survivalist, on the run kind of stuff, their solution was not bad and retained all essential mythology. writing is solid and the casting is good, but no mistake: as someone who harbors bittersweet feelings about firefly only partially assuaged by the tremendous asskicking delivered by serenity, to see summer glau tearing shiz up on fox once more, this time unencumbered by ptsd and basic human inclinations against tossing folks around like styrofoam packing material truly warms my heart. she is the vibrant core of this show and its emotional center. warning to fox: do not toy with and strand bereftly once more! do not i repeat do not cancel!!! t:tscc nostalgically reminds me of when i could look forward to quality paranoid dystopian sci-fi programming on fox so DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW! we will have words and more, murdoch-lizards! c-4 and shotguns, all i am saying. love, me!
